Wentz goes out too fast, finishes 45th

HEBRON — Keely Wentz was on pace for a second straight All-Ohio finish, but that pace was a bit too fast. Wentz was 45th in the Division III girls race in 19:42.4 in the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Hebron’s National Trail Raceway.

Hunter, Evans, Brady named to boys NCOSA 1st team

Riverdale senior defenders Kyle Evans and Josh Hunter and Upper Sandusky senior midfielder Cameron Brady were named to the boys All-North Central Ohio Soccer Association first team. Evans and Hunter helped the Falcons give up just 1.78 goals per match with three shutouts on the season.
