Safety blotter: July 15, 2019 Officers responded to a fire alarm at Fairhaven the early morning of July 12. No fire was observed and the scene was secured by the fire department. An officer on patrol observed a disabled vehicle on the 1500 block of East Wyandot Avenue the afternoon of July 12. Safety blotter: July 9, 2019 Willie T. Thomas, Wooster, was charged with OVI following a traffic stop on U.S. 30 eastbound near CH 128 the early morning of July 8. A probable cause search of the vehicle located marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and loaded firearms. The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office took over the scene upon arrival because of jurisdiction. The officer was unable to locate the persons. An officer responded to an alarm at Amvets the morning of July 4. The alarm was set off by employee error. Read More

The responding officer was unable to locate the vehicle. An officer on patrol located a disabled semi-tractor trailer on North Sandusky Avenue at Church Street the morning of July 3. The driver of the vehicle advised he was lost and the officer gave him directions for his destination. Read More
Safety blotter: July 3, 2019 Jeremy Rowe, Bucyrus, was cited for operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs and for expired registration the early morning of July 2. Rowe also was cited with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and a passenger in the car was advised that a report would be submitted to the juvenile prosecutors for possession of marijuana less than 100 grams and a curfew violation.
