An officer responded to a report of neighbors having problems in the 400 block of North Fourth Street early the morning of June 7. The neighbors agreed to be civil.

A caller reported two men were shooting at geese with a handgun on a property near TH 108 and CH 47, Salem Township, the evening of May 24. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources handled the complaint. Ronald A. Johnson, Nevada, was traveling westbound on TH 70 near TH 10, Antrim Township, early the morning of May 25 when he struck a deer crossing the roadway.

A caller advised of three steers running loose near CH 74, Antrim Township, the morning of May 21. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance in the 19000 block of Ohio 37, Marseilles Township, the evening of May 21.

A deputy responded to a child custody dispute on Lafeyette Street, Tymochtee Township, the morning of May 1. A woman backed her vehicle into the father of her children because he would not let her leave the driveway.

An officer responded to a report of a turkey in the median of U.S. 23 near Thiel’s Wheels the evening of May 25. The white turkey was caught, and a wound on it made the officer believe it fell from a truck.

A woman in the 200 block of West Wyandot Avenue reported someone knocking on her door early the morning of May 25. It was the woman’s neighbor’s son wanting the Wi-fi password.

Zachary D. Young, Upper Sandusky, was transported to the correctional reception center in Orient to begin a 57-month prison term the morning of May 11. Young was found guilty of three counts of burglary and two counts of grand theft.

Collin R. Fredritz, Upper Sandusky, was cited for a seatbelt violation and warned for speed at the intersection of South Warpole and Johnson streets the afternoon of May 24. A woman in the 200 block of South Fourth Street reported that a vehicle had not moved in several days the afternoon of May 24. An officer made contact with a resident and he said he believed the vehicle belonged to the original caller.

Jennifer D. Young, Upper Sandusky, was warned for license plate lights required on East Wyandot Avenue early the morning of May 22. Debbie J. Goodell, Temperance, Michigan, was warned for two headlights required on South Sandusky Avenue early the morning of May 22.
