Man hurt in crash, charged with OVI

Alcohol is believed to have played a role in a one-vehicle crash Saturday evening in which a Sycamore man was transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Eric J. McNutt was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a result of the crash.

Woman arraigned on meth charges

A third person is facing charges related to a methamphetamine lab that law enforcement shut down on North Warpole Street just over a week ago. Cami L. Neese was arrested Friday morning and charged with two counts of complicity to illegally assemble or possess chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, with one of the counts having a juvenile specification, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

PD offers bike registration to counter lost, stolen bikes

Bicycling is a popular form of transportation in the city of Upper Sandusky, where the police department is asking bike owners to consider registering so they can be identified in case their bikes are lost or stolen. Upper Sandusky Police Officer Patrick O’Connor and Auxiliary Officer Lynn Dunbar set up outside the front doors of Walmart in Upper Sandusky on Saturday as part of a kickoff for the week-long 10-year anniversary celebration at the store.

Open house scheduled at Mohawk museum

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Historical Society will host an open house from 1-8 p.m. Thursday at its museum in Sycamore in celebration of its recently completed renovations. Local historian and Mohawk Historical Society president Kim Mohr will offer personal tours at the start of every hour from 1-7 p.m.
