Ohio Arts Partnership seeking to fund all 88 counties

COLUMBUS — An initiative undertaken by the Ohio Arts Council is reaching toward Wyandot County in hopes of funding community organizers in this area. The Ohio Arts Council is dedicated to funding all of Ohio’s 88 counties, and northwest Ohio program coordinator Jim Szekacs has been reaching out to organizations in this county, according to an email from communications strategist Hannah Brokenshire.

ODOT releases construction report

LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation District 1 has released its highway construction report for the coming week. The Ohio 103 bridge over U.S. 23/Ohio 15 south of Carey occasionally is restricted to one lane for bridge repair work being performed by DOT Construction Corp., Canfield.

Fluffy clouds meander over a Salem Township farm. Some areas of Wyandot County experienced their first steady rain all summer Thursday, as the skies opened up with passing thunderstorms throughout the evening.
