WCBDD approves 2 percent pay increase for qualified staff

The Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities unanimously passed a resolution at Thursday’s meeting for a 2 percent across-the-board increase for eligible staff members. The issue had been tabled last month as business manager Amy Traxler completed research before the decision was made. Suspect, 13, arrested for stabbing girl

A 13-year-old juvenile boy is in custody facing a charge of felonious assault after a report of a stabbing involving two juveniles Wednesday morning. The boy, who has not been identified by officials, remained in custody at a juvenile detention center in Marion after a hearing Thursday, Wyandot County Assistant Prosecutor Eric Figlewicz confirmed this morning.
