Volunteers once again are preparing to work alongside senior citizens living with dementia at Fairhaven Community through the Opening Minds Through Art program. The minimum pay for some non-union Upper Sandusky city service workers will increase by $2 an hour Jan. 1, pending a vote by city council. The city’s service committee recently voted to increase the starting hourly wage from $12 to $14 for all non-licensed, full-time, non-union employees.
