Reid named to Grange Life Presidents Club

COLUMBUS — Dan Reid of the Reid Insurance Agency, Upper Sandusky, was named a member of the 2017 Grange Life Presidents Club, recognizing him for his production, customer retention and service results. Every year, Grange Life distinguishes a select group of its independent agency partners with the Presidents Club honor.

Public gets first look at proposed new Wynford school

BUCYRUS – Architect Brent Buehrer gave details of a proposed new middle school and high school building to a group of community members Tuesday evening in the Wynford High School auditorium. Mike Burns, director of Robert W. Baird and Co. Inc., also presented financial information about the ballot issue set to go before voters in the November election.

ARC, PLC enrollees must protect farms from wind, erosion, weeds

Producers enrolled in Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) must protect all cropland and noncropland acres on the farm from wind and water erosion and noxious weeds. Producers who sign ARC county or individual contracts and PLC contracts agree to effectively control noxious weeds on the farm according to sound agricultural practices.
