CAREY — Carey Village Council on Monday unanimously approved an ordinance directing the village administrator to enter into a purchase agreement with Bauman Auto Group Chevrolet for the purchase of a new 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe police pursuit vehicle for dedicated use by the K-9 officer at below state term pricing without formal bidding and advertising.

MARION — An Upper Sandusky woman was injured in a fatal two-vehicle accident Sunday morning. The Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a press release that the accident took place at 9:38 a.m. Sunday.

COLUMBUS — An Upper Sandusky native has one of the biggest fights of his life later today at the Arnold Sports Festival in downtown Columbus. Travis Davis, a 2005 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, began fighting mixed martial arts professionally in 2016. He competes in the middleweight (185 pound) and light heavyweight (205 pound) divisions, and possesses a 5-1 record.
