Sycamore considers ways to improve pool, park SYCAMORE — The Sycamore’s parks committee met with leaders from local business leaders Tuesday to discuss plans for 2018. Levy needed because of state cuts Crane Township trustees are asking the citizens of Crane Township, which includes Upper Sandusky, to approve a .5-mill property tax increase that will become effective Jan. 1, 2018. This increase will generate around $75,000 a year in additional funds for five years. Read More
USHS agricultural soils judging team qualifies for nationals The Upper Sandusky High School agricultural team placed third in the state and the urban team took sixth in soil judging competition held recently. Competition was held at the county level, district level and state level. Read More
Forestry clinic slated Saturday The Wyandot Soil and Water Conservation District is sponsoring a forestry clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the county woodlot next to Angeline School.
