The Star Players have begun rehearsals for their spring musical, “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” which will be staged at 7 p.m. May 10-12 and 2 p.m. May 13 at the Star Theatre in Upper Sandusky. The smash off-Broadway hit, which was written by Roger Bean, premiered at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in 1999.

BUCYRUS — The Crawford Theatre Company will present Arthur Miller’s classic, “The Crucible” at 7:30 p.m. April 13-14 and at 2:30 p.m. April 15 at Wynford Elementary School, 3300 Holmes Center Road, Bucyrus.

The Star Players have announced it will hold open enrollment for its annual Children’s Theatre Workshop at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the theater ticket office on West Wyandot Avenue in Upper Sandusky. Star Kids is an education theater experience for children currently enrolled in first through sixth grade.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Theatre will present its 20th annual summer theater camp in two separate weeklong camps from June 11-16 and 19-24. Students will be limited to participate in only one of the two weeks as either an actor or assistant director.

Residents of the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center traveled to Heritage Family Center in Tiffin last week for handicap accessible entry and bowling. After playing a round of regular bowling, residents went to Steamers, an attached restaurant with Heritage, and ordered a hot lunch.
