SYCAMORE — A Sycamore woman retired from the First National Bank of Sycamore Saturday after working for 40 years. Kathy Keller worked in the bookkeeping and IT department at the bank for 24 years before working in the loan department for the past 16 years.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Clouse Construction Corp., a general contractor in New Riegel, has been recognized as a high performance builder by Butler Manufacturing.

Pharmacy Tech Deb Bjorling, of Carey, retired last week from Wyandot Memorial Hospital after working more than 31 years in the pharmacy department. Her co-workers celebrated the milestone with cake, and her sister presented her with a framed photo showing Bjorling at her mother’s retirement party in the very same cafeteria in 1991.

Twenty-one employers in Wyandot County have earned recognition from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation for reaching a year without workplace injuries or illnesses that kept workers away from work for more than a day. The employers received BWC’s 100 Percent Award during the Wyandot County Safety Council’s annual awards ceremony.
