Nevada takes nuisance animal complaints

NEVADA — Mayor Harold Lambert said at Monday night’s council meeting, Nevada has an ordinance against nuisance animals but it has no ability to enforce it. The village has received multiple complaints recently, and Lambert had a copy of the 2008 ordinance available for council members to review.

USHS grad starts mentoring program

An Upper Sandusky High School graduate is hoping he can spark residents of Wyandot County to help make a huge difference for at-risk youth in the community. Justin Swartz recently began the Wyandot County Mentoring Program. He was motivated to try something new after spending a decade working with children in need.
