A worker plowed the remnants of this weekend’s winter storm from sidewalks and parking spaces on South Sandusky Avenue on Monday morning. The city received nearly a foot of snow Saturday into early Sunday morning, causing church services to be canceled and businesses to close.

Car catches fire in Pilot parking lot

A Gahanna woman’s vehicle was a total loss Friday afternoon after it caught fire at a gas station in Upper Sandusky. The Upper Sandusky Fire Department received a 911 call at approximately 2:23 p.m. Friday stating a car was on fire at the Pilot gas station near the building, not the gasoline pumps.

The Wyandot Council on Aging held it’s annual Pizza Passports event Friday afternoon at Trinity Evangelical Church in Upper Sandusky. The event highlights the many trips available through the Council on Aging for the year.

Robert F. Ruffing, Carey, charged by the Carey police with possession of a weapon while intoxicated, obstruction of official business, resisting arrest and discharging a firearm in village limits, sentencing hearing held, found guilty.
