Award-winning children’s author David Fitzsimmons signed autographs in many of his popular ‘Curious Critters’ books before giving a presentation at the Upper Sandusky Community Library on Thursday evening. Fitzsimmons shared his stories and photography to a packed house in the library basement.

Library adopts new conduct policy

The Upper Sandusky Community Library Board passed a new code of conduct policy for visitors during its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday. Upper Sandusky Community Library Director Kathleen Whitt said the policy will protect the rights of all individuals who use the library, the rights of the employees, the safety of the users, employees and volunteers and help preserve library materials and property from harm.

Wyandot County Engineer Mike Kohl was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award on Thursday evening at the 2019 Wyandot County Township Association Spring Banquet, which was held in the Masters’ Building at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds.
