Smalley sentenced to 30 months for attempted arson A McCutchenville man was sentenced to 30 months in prison for attempted aggravated arson Tuesday. Daniel E. Smalley, 30, McCutchenville, was indicted on an aggravated arson charge Nov. 14, 2018, and pleaded guilty to the reduced charge on March 26. Before the sentencing, Smalley agreed to register as an arson offender. Read More

Mayor: no building zoning in Wharton WHARTON — After multiple calls from real estate agents regarding the issue, Wharton mayor Keith Kauble annouced at Monday’s council meeting that Wharton does not have any building zoning codes. Pedestrian killed in Tuesday night crash CAREY — A Carey man was killed Tuesday night in a pedestrian versus vehicle traffic crash in Ridge Township.
