Marion man sentenced in marijuana possession charge A Marion man was sentenced to community control Wednesday by Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Owen A. Taylor, 34, of Marion, was originally charged with manufacture of a controlled substance (illegal cultivation of marijuana) and trafficking in drugs (trafficking in marijuana with criminal forfeiture specification) on Dec. 12, 2018. The trafficking charge was dismissed in June and Taylor pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of possession of marijuana, a third degree felony, on June 4, according to Wyandot Common Pleas Court records. Wyandot County Board of Health identifies priorities At its regular meeting Wednesday, the Wyandot County Board of Health discussed its strategic planning process. The board is currently on step four of the process, which is “agree on strategic priorities.” Board members placed stickers on a chart next to the priorities they felt were the most important.
