Bucryus man leads push to find lost Wyandot Co. graves

Looking for the lost

What began as a favor for his nephew’s genealogy 4-H project, led a Bucyrus man with Wyandot County roots on a mission to uncover the factual piece of county lore. Scott McKee of Bucyrus met with Wyandot County commissioners at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday to discuss finding where an unmarked cemetery on county property is located.

Creative Plastics to expand to Arrowhead Commerce Park

CAREY — Creative Plastics Concepts will occupy the second building in the Arrowhead Commerce Park, Carey Administrator Roy Johnson announced during a council meeting Wednesday. The company, which operates in Findlay and Sycamore, is seeking an enterprise zone designation. Council will consider the designation, which provides tax incentives, at its next meeting July 17.

Upper fire department needs new truck

Upper Sandusky needs a new fire truck. Brand new ladder trucks can cost as much as $1.2 million, but city safety committee members on Wednesday night gave Fire Chief Lynn Yeater the green light to look into possibly buying a used truck that may cost as much as $500,000 less.
