In-Demand Jobs: Students visit WMH Upper Sandusky High School students were given a tour of Wyandot Memorial Hospital Wednesday as part of Ohio In-Demand Jobs Week. Shots fired, dog injured in rural Upper Sandusky domestic dispute A dog was injured and a rural Upper Sandusky man was arrested following a domestic incident at which a responding deputy of the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office discharged his weapon early Wednesday morning. A Wyandot County Sheriff’s report states officers were dispatched to a residence on the 5000 block of Ohio 53 at 4:10 a.m. for a male who had been bitten on the face by a dog. The situation evolved into a domestic case when dispatchers were advised the dog’s owner and his father had gotten into a fight. Read More

Carey High School FFA wins ODOT contest in Wyandot LIMA — Carey High School was named the winner of Wyandot County and was fourth in the People’s Choice Award in the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1’s annual Paint the Plow contest.
