USHS DECA selling flowers cards

Upper Sandusky High School’s DECA student marking association is partnering with Richardson’s Flowers & Gifts to offer customers a special “flower card” that can be redeemed for a free floral bouquet each month from January through October 2018.

Upper native hired as chief marketing officers for KFC

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble Co. executive Andrea Zahumensky, an Upper Sandusky native, has been hired as chief marketing officer of U.S. operations for the chicken restaurant chain KFC Corp. Zahumensky, who has worked or P&G for 20 years, has been brand director for North America Baby Care for the Cincinnati-based maker of consumer goods such as Pampers diapers since August of last year.

Wright receives On Your Side certification

Daisy Wright of Outland Insurance, Upper Sandusky and Tiffin, has achieved On Your Side Elite Farm certification from Nationwide, based in Columbus. Elite Farm Certification is the highest level in Nationwide’s On Your Side Farm Certification program. Elite Certification is by invitation only and provides participants with direct access to Nationwide farm insurance leaders and leaders of other agricultural entities.
