Five Upper Sandusky Girl Scouts took on a big challenge and have earned the highest award available to them. Recipients of the Silver Award were McKenzie Gardner, Abby Thiel, Rachael Herring, Hannah Herring and Sarah Scott, who are part of Girl Scout Troop No. 2151 in Upper Sandusky and are led by Amy Gardner.

HHWP Head Start hosted an open house Friday at the Wyandot Community Action Commission building, 559 S. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky. Parents interested in registering their children for the 2016-17 school year were able to bring their children to tour the facility, meet staff, participate in activities and pick up applications.
