SYCAMORE — The Serving Every Ohioan Technology Training Center bus will be parked at the Mohawk Community Library beginning at 10 a.m. Aug. 4. The center will teach attendees how to use the many types of mobile devices available today.

The Country Modern Mother’s Day League recently hosted a family picnic at Harrison Smith Park with 37 members and guests in attendance. Dorothy Leslie opened with prayer.

The oldest and youngest descendants of the late Harley J. and Virginia Holmes Wolf were present to celebrate the 101st birthday party of their eldest daughter, Dorothy Virginia Wolfe, on July 19 at Fairhaven Community. Wolfe has resided at Fairhaven for the past two years.

Nora Bell Ann Might celebrated her 101st birthday on July 17 at Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care. Born July 17, 1914 in McCutchenville, Might is a daughter of the late Harry and Jessie Detray.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library has announced its activities for the month of August. The annual Friends of the Library book sale is scheduled for Aug. 6-8 during the library’s regular hours.

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University recently announced its dean’s list for the spring semester. Paul Frey, of Kirby, and Justin Mattix, of Upper Sandusky, were named to the list. To be eligible, a student must maintain a 3.6 or higher GPA.
