TIFFIN — St. Francis Chapel will host inter-faith candlelight lessons and carols from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 18. The English candlelight service involves the proclamation of nine scripture readings from creation to the birth of Christ.

A local effort is underway to collect fire relief items to be delivered to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on Dec. 21. All household items are needed, as well as cleaning, personal hygiene and baby supplies, hats, gloves, coats, clothes and socks in all sizes.
