Wyandot County Public Health now is affiliated with the Cribs for Kids program, providing free Graco Pack’n Play and Safe Sleep kits to income-eligible families who do not have a safe sleep environment for children younger than 1 year.

Inspired by the movie “Night At the Museum,” guests will be night watchmen at the Heritage Hall Museum, 169 E. KIRBY — Riverdale Community Lions Club will host a pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 12 at St. Mary Center in Kirby. Each meal will include whole-hog sausage, buttermilk pancakes and a drink.

MARION – The BlueFusion Entertainment Kidzapalooza is coming to the Marion Veterans Memorial Coliseum from10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. There will be huge inflatables for children to bounce, climb and slide.

Influenza vaccine still is available in Wyandot County as flu-like illness continues to increase throughout Ohio. Influenza vaccination is the safest and most effective way to prevent the flu, except for infants younger than 6 months old who are not eligible to receive it.
