CAREY — It’s rhubarb season at the Our Lady of Consolation Bakery, where volunteers turn locally grown and donated rhubarb into a variety of pies. Flavors include rhubarb, rhubarb-strawberry and rhubarb-cherry.

Twenty-four members attended the Wyandot County Senior Citizens Club’s April meeting and potluck dinner at the Senior Center in Upper Sandusky. Norman Folk led the group in prayer and Sue Miller led the Pledge of Allegiance before the meal.

MELMORE — The public is invited to Melmore United Methodist Church’s Heritage Day celebration Sunday at the church. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship service at 10:30 a.m.
