Trinity UCC hosts chicken BBQ

McCUTCHENVILLE — Trinity United Church of Christ hosts a chicken barbecue dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. The menu includes a half-Harlan’s chicken, a choice of two sides (homemade potato salad, baked beans or applesauce) rolls, butter and drinks.

Upper Sandusky library to host human trafficking event Wed.

Sisters in Shelter will present a program about human trafficking and modern-day slavery at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Upper Sandusky Community Library. The nonprofit, Tiffin-based organization provides emergency and transitional housing, trauma and psychological care, and lifeskills training for women who have been victims of human trafficking.

Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a buff-colored neutered male cat, a female tiger cat, a female buff and white cat, a neutered male tiger and white cat, and a neutered male white and orange cat.

Tree Trown Festival parade set July 7 in Forest

FOREST — The 2017 Tree Town Festival Parade is at 6:30 p.m. July 7. Line-up begins at 5:30 p.m. at the soccer fields on West Dixon Street. Awards will be given for best commercial float, best youth float, best organizational float, best classic car, best antique car, best antique tractor, best-mounted horse and best hitch.
