FOREST — Storytime Station at Forest-Jackson Public Library will feature a special evening program, Book Time with Ronald McDonald, at 6:30 p.m. today. Children preschool-age and older may meet Ronald McDonald and take home free coupons for McDonald’s dessert.

Upper Sandusky Middle school waived the price of admission to Thursday’s volleyball games to all fans who brought items for victims of Hurricane Harvey.

CAREY — The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation will host a Latino Day on Sept. 17. Aztec dancers from Norwalk will perform in front of the Basilica prior to the noon Mass, which will be celebrated in Spanish.

CAREY — The Our Lady of Consolation Bakery, under the direction of Father Paul Faroh, will be open for its first bake sale of the fall season from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The sales office is located in the information booth across from the OLC Basilica.
