Voice of Democracy contest open

CAREY — Commanders Dan Monday and Rodger Brodman of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts 3759 and 2842 announce the kick-off of this year’s VFW’s Voice of Democracy Scholarship competition. Local high school students have the opportunity to compete for thousands of dollars in scholarships and a trip to Washington D.C.

Prostate cancer group to meet Tuesday

The Wyandot County Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday for an open forum on topics of interest to those in attendance. The meeting will be held in the Bowman and Kirkland Conference Rooms on the lower level of Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Tiny Tots continues Mon through Wed

Tiny Tots Story Time for children newborn to 3 years old is every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the month of September at Upper Sandusky Community Library, 301 N. Sandusky Ave. Times are from 5:30-6 p.m. Sept. 19 and 26; 11-11:30 a.m. Sept. 20 and 27; and 10-10:30 a.m. Sept. 25.
