4-H Clubs: May 4, 2017

Members of Town and Country 4-H recently gathered for the club’s second meeting at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky. Kaytlyn Graver called the meeting to order, and McKenna Rapp led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Carey resident honored at YSU YOUNGSTOWN — Taylor Fletcher of Carey completed the Emerging Leader Program at Youngstown State University. Fletcher, a senior accounting major, was among more than 200 YSU students recognized at the 2017 student awards banquet.

Toastmasters kickoff mtg. Thursday at Fairhaven

A kickoff meeting for Toastmasters International personal development and leadership program is from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at Fairhaven Community auditorium, Upper Sandusky. Businesses and community members are invited to join the program that teaches leadership and public-speaking skills.

Bereavement group services serves youth 6-12

FINDLAY — Bridge Bereavement Services offers a program for children who have lost a loved one. Sprouting Hope brings together children ages 6-12 with their peers to participate in activities to help them express their feelings, create lasting memories of their loved one and have fun.
