BUCYRUS — Wynford High School held its academic honors night Tuesday.

The American Cancer Society is asking for more local support to expand the area’s transportation service for local cancer patients. The service is called Road To Recovery and provides free transportation to cancer patients that need assistance getting to and from treatment-related appointments.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Players will hold open auditions for “The Addams Family” at 6 p.m.Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. The show will be performed July 13-22 at The Ritz on the main stage.

United Church Homes’ Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky recently recognized more than 100 volunteers who gave over 13,000 hours of time and talents during its annual volunteer appreciation luncheon in the Robert P. Lee Fellowship Hall.

Randy and Nancy Grubbs have announced the engagement of their daughter, Abby Jo Grubbs, to Jayson Lee Pfeiffer, a son of Glen Pfeiffer and Lisa and Dave Pfleiderer. A 2012 graduate of Vanlue High School, Grubbs graduated from Stautzenberger College in 2014 and is continuing her education and also working at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company.

WHS grads doing cross-cultural experiences BLUFFTON — Logan Neal, of Nevada, is participating in a Bluffton University cross-cultural experience in Haiti during the month of May.
