Hudson Lee Moses

Lindsey and Brian Moses are the parents of a boy. Hudson Lee Moses was born at 5 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. He was 20.5 inches long and weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces. The maternal grandparents are Jim and Barb McEldowny, of Upper Sandusky. The paternal grandparent is Chris Moses, of Kirby.

Alzheimer’s group meets at WMH

To help those who care for individuals who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory loss disorder, the Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter invites anyone who has a loved one with memory loss to attend a free caregiver group at 2 p.m. the fourth Friday of every month at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, 885 N. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky.

Humane Society: May 22, 2018

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a black cat with a red collar, a young brown Chihuahua, a neutered male buff color cat, a gray female cat, a white Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix with a pink collar, a gray and white spayed female cat, a small black female retriever mix, a female calico cat and a gray and white neutered male cat.

The Upper Sandusky Lions Club installed two Ohio Historical Markers ahead of the Wednesday dedication — one at the Wyandot County Courthouse and the other at the old Stephan Lumber building. The public is invited to join in on the celebration, starting at 1 p.m. at the courthouse.

Micro business program to begin May 31

MARION — Recruitment is underway to enroll participants in the next Micro Business Development Program offered by the HHWP Community Action Commission. The program consists of 13 sessions held from 5:45-8:45 p.m. on Thursdays beginning May 31 at the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, 123 E. Main Cross St., Findlay. The final session will be Aug. 23.

Fifth and sixth graders from St. Peter School participate in archery class thanks to a grant last year from the National Archery in the Schools Program and a donation from the Wyandot Wildlife Conservation Club.
