The Upper Sandusky High School FFA will provide animals for a petting zoo from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. All ages are invited to join us for this free program.

The public is invited to hear the local band Fret Mashers in a free concert at 7 p.m. Friday at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Meet on the back lawn of the library to hear great acoustic country folk and bluegrass music.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library will show recent, popular and free movies for adults at 1 p.m. Wednesdays until July 25. These movies are rated PG or PG-13. Enjoy air conditioning, popcorn and a movie.

SYCAMORE — Over 50 patrons attended The Kick Off to Summer Reading Night at the Mohawk Community Library featuring local country recording artist Eric Sowers on June 4. Sowers, a native of Sycamore, shared his musical journey and sang seven of his original songs from his new CD.

The Wyandot County Farm Bureau is hitting the road for some learning and fun. Join the Farm Bureau on June 23 for a tour by ATV (four-Wheelers) or UTV (Gator, Kubota, etc.) or a personal passenger vehicle of choice to local farms and Indian Mill.

Beta chapter of Tri Sigma Sorority The June 4 meeting of the Beta Chapter of Tri Sigma Sorority was held at the home of Mary Riedlinger. Guest speaker Tami Baumberger, Ohio State University Extension SNAP Educator, shared information about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in Wyandot County.

Jaxson Carpenter, a son of Nick and Alicia Carpenter, has completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Jaxson comes to the library often with his mom and dad and will be entering kindergarten this year.
