USHS grads named to BWU dean’s list

Area students named to Ashland dean’s list

ASHLAND — A pair of area students were named to the dean’s list at Ashland University for the 2018 fall semester. Dana Worst, of Carey, is a daughter of Mindy Worst, of Carey, and a 2018 graduate of Carey High School. Tristan Reichelderfer, of Kenton, is majoring in biology and is a 2015 graduate of Kenton High School.

Forest resident enrolls at UF

FINDLAY — Haley Beltz, of Forest, has enrolled a the University of Findlay for the spring semester 2019. A Riverdale High School graduate, Beltz is pursuing a degree in early childhood education.

Scholarships available for students in medical fields through BVHS

FINDLAY — Blanchard Valley Health System is offering educational scholarships to individuals pursuing health care careers. BVHS associates and current college students may be eligible to apply. Riverdale’s kindergarten screening soon

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale Local Schools will conduct its annual kindergarten screening March 25 at Riverdale Elementary School in the kindergarten classrooms. Parents who have children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2019, are asked to call the elementary office at 419-694-2211 ext. 1113 beginning Feb. 4.

Marshall James Weaver

Rebecca and Brad Weaver, of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a boy. Marshall James Weaver was born at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. He was 20.5 inches long and weighed 7 pounds, 7.5 ounces.

Corban Wayne Spence

Ellianna Spence, of Bucyrus, and Joseph A. Eldridge, of Mansfield, are the parents of a boy. Corban Wayne Spence was born at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
