For the ninth year, AARP Tax-Aide, a free tax preparation service, is being offered through the joint effort of the Wyandot County Council on Aging and the Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church. Federal, state and school tax returns will be e-filed at no cost, including postage.

Over the last several years drug overdoses have continued to increase. At this point, the Surgeon General has issued a statement for all communities to increase Narcan availability since research shows when communities increase education and availability, the number of overdose deaths decrease.

Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a brown and white female English bulldog-Bernese mountain dog mix and a black and brown male beagle.

COLUMBUS — State Sen. Dave Burke (R-Marysville) announced that the Ohio Legislative Service Commission is accepting applications through April 1 for the 2020 Legislative and Telecommunications Fellowship Program. The Commission will hire 24 fellows to serve in the Ohio General Assembly for the 2020 calendar year.

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Genealogical Society will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library’s Frost-Kalnow Room. The program presented will be a downloaded video presentation of a session from RootsTech 2019, the world's largest family history conference.
