BUCYRUS — Recycling at the Nature Center is 9 a.m. to noon April 13 at Lowe-Volk Park hosted by the Colonel Crawford Lions Club and The Friends of the Crawford Park District. We will have a recycle day the second Saturday of each month through the year.

FINDLAY — The University of Findlay will host its 15th annual Spring Horse Sale April 27, at the University Western Farm’s Dale Wilkinson Arena, 14700 Ohio 68, south of Findlay. Demonstrations will begin at 10 a.m., and the sale will start at noon.

The Wyandot County Retired Teachers association will meet at noon April 23 at Trinity Evangelical Church near Upper Sandusky. This month’s program will be presented by Gary Collet of Carey. He has been a collector of toy farm tractors for 32 years.

TIFFIN – Heidelberg University President Robert H. Huntington has announced that distinguished alumna, the Honorable Judge K.J. Montgomery of the Shaker Heights Municipal Court, will address the Class of 2019 as the keynote speaker at Commencement on Sunday, May 12, at Hoernemann Stadium.

TIFFIN — The Harmony Community Easter Cantata Choir will give its annual musical presentations at 7:30 p.m. April 12 and on Palm Sunday, April 14. This year’s Cantata is entitled “Finished-Today Hope Is Alive.”

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Public Library is hosting a Peeps diorama contest in April. Using Peeps marshmallow bunnies or chicks, a shoe box and props, create a scene from a book, movie, television show, musical, history or science fiction.
