Ohio PTA receives grant COLUMBUS — National PTA has awarded Ohio PTA with a two-year grant to educate parents on school report cards and empower them to advocate to ensure this data is accessible, transparent and actionable. Senior fair is May 17 at Trinity May is Older American’s Appreciation Month and the Wyandot County Council on Aging is hosting the annual senior fair, lunch and a show at Trinity Evangelical on May 17. HHWP CAC offering water bill assistance to qualifying homes For households at 125% of the poverty level and below, HHWP Community Action Commission has reinstated water assistance. Guidelines are as follows $15,613 (one in family unit), $21,138 (two in family unit), $26,663 (three in family unit), $32,188 (four in family unit), $37,713 (five in family unit), $43,238 (six in family unit), $48,763 (seven in family unit) and $54,288 (eight in family unit). 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Ava Schoenberger, a daughter of Holly and Aaron Schoenberger, has completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Ava started Sept. 11, 2017, and completed the program April 30, 2019. She comes to the library quite often with her mom. Read More
