The 42nd annual Marion Van and Mildred (Quail) Parsell family reunion was held at Camp Trinity near Upper Sandusky on Sunday, June 9, 2019.

The third annual South Sandusky Block Rally is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26 at South Sandusky Ave. in Upper Sandusky from the Courthouse to the railroad tracks.

CRESTLINE — The Crawford County Parks district recently announced upcoming summer events. Toddler Trot: Sticks and Stones is 6 p.m. July 23 at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 Ohio 598. People say they’ll break your bones, but they are so much fun to play with. Join Josh and McKinley in using sticks and stones to construct anything the heart desires. Towers, shelters, fairy houses, with sticks and stones, the possibilities are endless. The program is for kids not quite old enough for school and younger.

The 86th annual Jacob Peter and Sarah Jane (Height) Bear family reunion was held recently at Salem United Methodist Church in Mifflin Township with 39 people in attendance. Dan Hoy gave the blessing before the potluck meal.

FOREST — Celebrate NASA’S 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11’s Historic Moon Landing at the Forest-Jackson Public Library. Watch the live webcast event on the library’s big screen from 4-5 p.m. July 15. Popcorn and a drink will be served for a free-will offering.

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Public Library will be hosting “Imagination Station Extreme Science” as part of its summer reading program. Minds will be blown with the extreme science demonstrations.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at noon Thursday on the Wyandot County Courthouse lawn for the recently completed Courthouse Corner project. Sponsors and project volunteers will be thanked publicly at the ceremony. The public is invited to the free event.
