Understanding trauma at WMH Monday

A Trauma: Understanding the Hurting and the Healing free training is 6-9 p.m. Sept. 16 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital lower level conference room, 885 N. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky. The training is sponsored by the The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties.

1000 Books Kelbley

Congratulations to Lila Kelbley for reading 1,000 books before kindergarten at the Dorcas Carey Public Library. The library offers the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Program for newborns up to school-age children.

Tiffin walking facade tour is September 22

The Tiffin Historic Trust is holding another of its Behind the Facade walking tours from 2-5 p.m. Sept. 22, 2019, the final day of the Heritage Festival. Academic Architecture I, from Carnegie to Campus will feature the corridor from downtown Tiffin to Heidelberg University.

Carey library has fall programs for birth to pre-K

Mother Goose Time starts Sept. 19 at the Dorcas Carey Public Library. This program will begin at 10 a.m. for infants through 2-year-olds. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes. The children must be accompanied by an adult during the half hour. There are stories, songs, and activities. If school is cancelled that day, there will not be Mother Goose Time. This program runs through mid-May.
