CRESTLINE — The Crawford Park District recently announced upcoming events. Wild Wednesday is 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 Ohio 598. Come to the Crawford Park District’s Nature Center and enjoy an hour of nature exploration. Program topics will vary and may include a story, a short hike, a craft or a visit from an animal. The program is for pre-schoolers and parents. Come dressed for the weather. Morning and afternoon programs will be similar.

FINDLAY — Local Red Cross volunteers were honored Thursday for their work with the organization at the American Red Cross North Central Ohio Chapter’s annual meeting and volunteer recognition dinner. The dinner was held at the Upper Sandusky Elks Lodge.

Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a large dark grey and white cat, a brown and black male chihuahua puppy, a neutered male bengal cat, a black and white neutered male Australian shepherd-border collie mix, a black male cat with a spot of white on his chest, a black and white neutered male cat, a white and brown female Pomeranian-husky-Australian shepherd mix, and a young tan neutered male pit bull mix.

Senior Citizens Club The Sept. 19 meeting of the Wyandot County Senior Citizens Club was held at the Wyandot County Senior Center in Upper Sandusky with 24 members in attendance.

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Lioness Club will open its doughnut season by making doughnuts at the Sycamore Fire House Oct. 26. Selling begins at 7:30 a.m. and the price is $7 per dozen doughnuts.
