BUCYRUS – Architect Brent Buehrer gave details of a proposed new middle school and high school building to a group of community members Tuesday evening in the Wynford High School auditorium. Mike Burns, director of Robert W. Baird and Co. Inc., also presented financial information about the ballot issue set to go before voters in the November election.

Upper Sandusky police has a new lieutenant. Patrick O’Connor, a two-year veteran of the department, took the oath during a city safety committee meeting Monday.

CLYDE — Upper Sandusky sophomore Brett Montgomery shot a 4-under-par 67 to lead Upper Sandusky to an eighth-place finish Monday in the Clyde Invitational at Green Hills Golf Course.

Buckeye Central football players were presented with a new weight room Monday after a year and half in which two players and a coach associated with the team died.

The Facebook group Upper Rocks was organized after Upper natives Amanda Barta and Kim Kisor recently stopped by Practically Perfect with an idea.

Carey Fest fun continued Friday.

Carey kicked off its 2017 festival on Thursday.

Greg Lonsway is the new administrator of Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Wyandot County Commissioners introduced Lonsway on Thursday at the facility. He officially starts Aug. 7. In a press release, Lonsway says he “looks forward to establishing strong relationships with residents, families, staff, volunteers, commissioners and folks living and working in and around Upper Sandusky.”
