Sentence stayed while Bennett appeals An Upper Sandusky man was sentenced to two years in prison Friday morning, although the sentence will be stayed up to six months while he appeals. James Bennett, 77, was found guilty of gross sexual imposition, a felony in the third degree, following a bench trial on Feb. 26. He was originally indicted July 11, 2018. Read More
Kuenzli to serve time for drug trafficking charge An Upper Sandusky man was sentenced to 30 months in prison Wednesday for aggravated trafficking in drugs. Andrew Kuenzli, 28, was originally arrested Feb. 14 by the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit after the unit became aware of a shipment of methamphetamine that was to be delivered to Upper Sandusky. He originally was charged with complicity and drug abuse, possession of cocaine, before pleading guilty to the reduced charge April 11. The drug abuse charge was dismissed. Read More
