Mercer promoted at Wyandot Memorial

Mercer manages the staff members working in the emergency department and is responsible for the day-to-day operations in collaboration with the department’s medical director, James Cohen, M.D. Mercer has a special interest in process improvement and patient satisfaction.

MARION — Dylan Runyon and Seth Fairchild of Peacock Water have successfully completed the professional service seminar at Kinetico’s Service Academy, the training arm of Kinetico Incorporated in Newbury. Runyon and Fairchild, along with other service professionals working for dealerships across the country, participated in this intensive service training seminar conducted by Kinetico, a manufacturer of non-electric, metered, demand operated, twin tank water processing equipment.

Dan Sheps, D.O., has been named the medical director of the hospitalist service at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Dr. Sheps directs the medical care of inpatients in the medical/surgical and intensive/critical care nursing units. He and his team of hospitalists have extensive experience and training in managing the complex care of acutely ill hospitalized patients.

Counseling center to locate in downtown Tiffin

TIFFIN — Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Lea Frank has announced that she is opening a new counseling center in downtown Tiffin April 1. Frank, owner and proprietor of Higher Ground Counseling Center, 205 S. Washington St., is to offer clinical counseling for mostly people ages 17 and older.
