Vernon P. “Pete” Spiegel Posted on August 4, 2016 0 Vernon P. “Pete” Spiegel NEVADA — Vernon P. “Pete” Spiegel, of rural Nevada, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at his residence. He was 85. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Randy Diller Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Emanuel UCC or Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 401 S.
