SYCAMORE — Raymond K. Perry, of Tiffin, died at 2:47 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was 74.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Born April 29, 1942 in Honeybee, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Preston and Margie (Walker) Perry. He married Sharon (Shaffer) Perry on Sept. 11, 1966 and she survives.

Mr. Perry also is survived by four children, Gary Perry (Martha Stansbery), Tiffin; Raymond (Mitzie) Perry Jr., Sycamore; Tina Perry (John Pope), Dunkirk; and Kevin (Sherrie) Perry, Sycamore; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Perry, Melmore; Claude (Linnie) Perry, Bloomville; and Dwight (Donna) Perry, Tiffin; and three sisters, Daisey Vaughn, Bloomville; Lois (Albert) McDonald, McCutchenville; and Linda (Bert) Messersmith, rural Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Perry.

A 1960 graduate of Mohawk High School, Mr. Perry was a laborer at the former Swan Rubber, Bucyrus, for 45 years.

He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Tiffin.

For hobbies, Mr. Perry loved to put out a garden and go to auctions, where he collected glass. He had quite a collection of salt and pepper shakers.
