Senior expo set for this month Posted on October 17, 2016 0 The Wyandot County Council on Aging will host its annual Senior Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 27 at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church, 108 Malabar Drive. The theme for the expo is “Living Smart — Aging Strong.” Workshops include “Keeping Your Electric Costs Down” with the Ohio Consumer Council at 9:30 a.m.; “Senior Scams” with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office at 10:30 a.m.; and “Healthy U and Balance U” with the Area Agency on Aging at 11:30 a.m. Flu shots will be offered by Wyandot County Public Health, and local and regional vendors will offer a variety of information for senior citizens. Refreshments including doughnuts, hot dogs, chips, soup, water and coffee will be available for a donation.
