Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Olivia C. Kearns, Kenton, was cited for expired registration, driving under suspension and a seatbelt violation following a traffic stop the morning of Feb. 20 on CH 47 near Ohio 53.

A caller in the 7000 block of CH 107 reported the afternoon of Feb. 19 the driver of a yellow sports car kept stopping in front of his residence. A deputy to the caller he would patrol the area in an effort to locate the vehicle.

A civil property dispute was reported the evening of Feb. 18 in the 2000 block of Ohio 568, Carey.

A deputy assisted an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper with a traffic stop the morning of Feb. 17.

Charlie L. Baker, Tiffin, was arrested at the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office the morning of Feb. 16 on an indictment warrant for one count of trafficking marijuana. The indictment was a result of an investigation by the sheriff’s office and the METRICH Enforcement Unit.

Garrett L. Vogel, Carey, was arrested the morning of Feb. 11 for one count of trafficking in cocaine with a juvenile specification, a fourth-degree felony. The indictment was a result of an investigation by the sheriff’s office and the METRICH Enforcement Unit.

Joshua P. Leiter, of Morral, was cited for disorderly conduct for urinating in public the evening of Feb. 5. A complaint of loud music was received the evening of Feb. 5 in the 100 block of North Main Street, Nevada.

Todd J. Jeffrey, Tiffin, was transported Feb. 13 to the Wyandot County Jail from Seneca County, where he was picked up on a bench warrant out of Wyandot County Juvenile Court for child support. The warrant was for 90 days in jail to be served upon arrest.

Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office A caller from McCutchenville reported the morning of Feb. 12 an unknown subject stole a check that was sent to her through the mail from her insurance company and cashed it without her permission.

A caller from the 100 block of Balliett Street, Nevada, reported the evening of Feb. 10 that a known subject was texting her daughter and threatening to burn down her residence. Chad J. Howard, Carey, was arrested the evening of Feb. 10 on an indictment warrant from Wyandot County Common Pleas Court for two courts of trafficking in heroin.
