Missing man found alive after fire

NEVADA — A missing Nevada man was located Saturday afternoon after a fire destroyed a residence Friday night in rural Nevada where he was last seen. The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office reports it received a 911 call about a structure fire on the 1900 block of CH 44 at 9:45 p.m.

Unilever issues allergy alert on undeclared tree nut in limited quantities of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Unilever is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of Ben & Jerry’s Coconut Seven Layer Bar bulk and Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey pints, which may inadvertently contain tree nuts including almonds, Brazil nuts and hazelnuts that are not declared in the ingredient list or allergy information list.

Officers were dispatched to Domino’s the early morning of April 13 in regards to an intoxicated male that had fallen asleep in the store. The man was medically cleared by Wyandot Memorial Hospital and was transported to the Wyandot County Jail until he could secure a ride home.

Amid the hustle and bustle of Saturday morning shoppers preparing for Easter, Walmart employees passed out Easter eggs to children ages 1-12. According to Walmart employee Terri Grubbs, the Upper Sandusky Walmart has been holding what she calls “Easter egg finds” since it opened 13 years ago.

Man rescued from vehicle stuck in high water Sunday

An Upper Sandusky man was rescued Sunday afternoon after his vehicle became disabled in high water. A Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office report states deputies were dispatched at 3:17 p.m. to the 7000 block of TH 29 in Tymochtee Township for a caller who said their vehicle was in the water and couldn’t get out.
