The Rotary Club of Upper Sandusky invites the community to its third annual pancake breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Dec. 9 in the cafeteria/gymnasium of John Stewart United Methodist Church and run by local Rotarians with assistance from the area Boy Scouts.

The What’s Cookin’ cookbook discussion group at the Upper Sandusky Community Library will host a cookie contest and potluck meal at 6 p.m. Dec. 18. A cookie exchange and option $5 gift exchange will be part of the evening’s activities.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library has holiday events scheduled for December. That Thursday Thing afterschool program for students in kindergarten through 12th grade will create and decorate snowflakes at 3 p.m. Dec. 7.
