WMH to promote Sleep Awareness week

Wyandot Memorial Hospital’s SleepCare is celebrating Sleep Awareness Week from March 11-17 by sharing tips for better sleep on social media and emphasizing the important role sleep has on overall health. It coincides with the start of Daylight Savings Time.

Tracers to have meeting

The Wyandot Tracers will meet at 6:30 p.m. March 19 at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. The meeting will be show and tell. Guests should bring an item or a story about their ancestors to share.

Trip meeting slated

Globus travel will present its Canyon Country Adventure trip presentation Thursday to anyone interested in hearing about the eight-day trip touring four national parks throughout Arizona and Utah. The presentation will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Senior Connection located at 124 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky.

UF drag show to raise funds

FINDLAY — The annual Drag Show Benefit is set to bring in drag queens and kings to the University of Findlay and the Findlay community March 13 to benefit the Findlay LGBTQ+ Community Council and the University of Findlay LGBT Resource Center, which provides resources such as books, movies and support for LGBT students at the university.

Doughnuts for sale

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Lioness Club will make spring doughnuts March 24 at the Mohawk Community Center (the former high school). Doughnuts will be sold beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the center and at TNT’s Pizza in downtown Sycamore. Prices remain $7 per dozen.
