OLC focusing on consolation

CAREY — This year at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, the Franciscan Friars we will be focusing on the theme of “consolation” at the Shrine. “Consolation” can and will take on many forms. Ultimately, God is the source of all consolation.

Free cooking program offered

A series of one-hour long programs is being offered by the SNAP-Ed program assistant from the Wyandot County Ohio State University Extension service. Tami Baumberger once again will conduct a series of Cooking with Tami sessions at the Open Door Resources Center in Upper Sandusky.

Small business program beginning

MARION — Recruitment is underway to enroll participants in the next Micro Business Development Program offered by the HHWP Community Action Commission. The program consists of 13 sessions held from 5:45-8:45 p.m. on Thursdays beginning May 31 at the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, 123 E. Main Cross St., Findlay. The final session will be Aug. 23.

4-H club activities: May 15, 2018

A recent meeting of Town & Country 4-H was called to order President Colton Breidenbach. Shortly after this, the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H pledge were led by Sarah Scott and McKenna Rapp. Afterward, Rapp did roll call asked all group members what their favorite animal is.
